The BSA helps companies deal with software licensing issues and offers a variety of audit tools for checking systems.

British Computing Society (BCS)
This organisation regulates the standarts set for the computer industry in the UK. Many higher education courses use a common framework that is defined by the BCS and many professionals in IT, expecially those who specifically work with software, are members of the BCS.
